Hello from Pier 29 in San Francisco!!

Two weeks ago the Commodore and I decided that Princess Cruises had an offer we couldn't refuse and here we are!  We will be spending the next seven days off the coast of California with a quick stop in Ensenada to call at a "foreign port"!!

To our great surprise we found out, shortly after booking, that some of our terrific neighbors are also along for the trip!  Joe and Barbara, Lauren and Walter and Jim and Molly are just down the hall from us!  We shared a van ride to the pier this morning that aged us all about ten years since the "driver", using the term loosely here, was very hesitant to use his brakes until the very last possible second!!  Yikes!  White knuckles all around!  Joe, in the front seat, seemed amazingly relaxed....hmmm?

Here's a peek out our balcony door towards the Golden Gate!!  Gorgeous day!!  We are now being called to our safety muster drill so it's time to grab the lifejackets!
